Huawei P20 Pro is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting a overall score of 81.4 against 72.1. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P20 Pro has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, the Huawei P20 Pro is a just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much better pixel quantity per inch of display, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2240 pixels and a little bigger display.
