Huawei P30 Lite has a general score of 77, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 general score. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Huawei P30 Lite has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Huawei P30 Lite is a newer and a little thinner phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but it's just a bit heavier.
Huawei P30 Lite has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. They have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei P30 Lite counts with a much better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much better 1080 x 2312 resolution, a quite bigger screen and a much greater pixels density.
Huawei P30 Lite has a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Huawei P30 Lite counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei P30 Lite, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, giving up a couple specs and features.
