The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has an overall score of 85.3, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Microsoft Surface Duo 2's body is much newer and incredibly thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's, although it's heavier.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a way better display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way higher 1892 x 2688px resolution, more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot larger display.
