Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but Moto G84 has older 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a much faster processing unit than Motorola Moto G84, although it has 8 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Moto G84 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot better screen pixels density, a bigger screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
