Comparison review
The Moto G9 Play is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting a global score of 76.7 against 72.1. Moto G9 Play is a newer cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it is noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Moto G9 Play has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Moto G9 Play has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a quite better resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a larger screen and a little bit greater pixel density.
