The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with a 77.4 score against 72.1. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play body is a bit lighter and a lot thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, even when both were only released 4 months apart. Moto Z2 Play has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.

Moto Z2 Play costs more than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
