Comparison review
Nokia 8.3 5G is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting a general score of 80.5 against 72.1. Nokia 8.3 5G's construction is a lot newer, but thicker and notably heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Nokia 8.3 5G has 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Nokia 8.3 5G features a better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a larger display, a greater number of pixels per screen inch and a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Nokia 8.3 5G has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage.
Nokia 8.3 5G has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Nokia 8.3 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a larger aperture to capture better captures in low-light environments, a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution and a much more MP camera.
The Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a much longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Nokia 8.3 5G is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
