The nubia Red Magic 3S has a score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's general score of 72.1. Although the nubia Red Magic 3S is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, it is incredibly thicker and noticeably heavier. These devices have Android OS, but the nubia Red Magic 3S has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, giving some nice extra features and better performance.
Nubia Red Magic 3S features a better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the nubia Red Magic 3S also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Nubia Red Magic 3S counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has more pixels per display inch, a bigger screen and a lot better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Nubia Red Magic 3S has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. Nubia Red Magic 3S has a very superior battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
The nubia Red Magic 3S has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot higher video definition, a much more megapixels back facing camera and a much bigger diafragm aperture.
Although nubia Red Magic 3S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the nubia Red Magic 3S, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning a couple specs and features.
