Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 Pro is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with a 77.2 score against 72.1. The OnePlus 8 Pro is a way newer phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it is a bit thicker and incredibly heavier. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a quite better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has much more pixels per display inch, a much better resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a bigger screen. OnePlus 8 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a larger camera aperture to take better low light photography and video, a back-facing camera with lot more MP and a lot better 3840x2160 video quality.
OnePlus 8 Pro features just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 Pro has a very superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 4510mAh battery size.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning a couple specifications.
