Comparison review
The OnePlus 9 has a score of 76, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's score of 72.1. OnePlus 9's body is notably newer than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's, but it's thicker and way heavier. These phones have Android OS, but the OnePlus 9 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
OnePlus 9 counts with a superior processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 9 also has a greater amount of RAM. The OnePlus 9 has a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a bigger display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and way more pixels per inch in the display.
OnePlus 9 takes greater videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way more mega pixels camera in the back, a larger aperture for better low light photography and a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality. OnePlus 9 counts with just a bit bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.
The OnePlus 9 features a way better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 46 percent greater battery size.
Although OnePlus 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy OnePlus 9, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning a couple specs and features.
