Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is a lot better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, having a score of 87 against 72.1. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Galaxy A42's body is much newer, but thicker and incredibly heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
Galaxy A42 features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processing unit.
