Comparison review
The Galaxy A6 has a general score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's score of 72.1. The Galaxy A6 is a a bit heavier device than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but both of them have the same thickness. The Galaxy A6 has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a little bit larger display, a slightly higher resolution of 720 x 1480px and a quite greater quantity of pixels in each display inch.
Galaxy A6 has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a slightly better memory for games and applications than Galaxy A6, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A6, because it has a 3080mAh battery size. Galaxy A6 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy A6 also has a back camera with more mega pixels and a lot larger aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light situations.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy A6 is also by far the cheapest.
