Comparison review
Galaxy C7 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, having a 78.4 score against 72.1. These devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy C7 Pro has the older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Although the Galaxy C7 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy C7 Pro design is heavier but also a little thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
Galaxy C7 Pro has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a little bit larger display, more pixels per inch of screen and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro features just a bit more memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro has a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 processing cores. The Galaxy C7 Pro has a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 3080mAh. Galaxy C7 Pro counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy C7 Pro also has a bigger aperture for better photography in low light situations and a better 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
