The Galaxy M30 has a global score of 82.4, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 global score. These phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy M30 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, providing some nice extra features. Galaxy M30's body is newer, but a bit thicker and heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
