Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting an 81.6 score against 72.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a incredibly older, heavier and just a bit thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the older 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Galaxy Note 4 has a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way higher pixels amount per inch in the display, a much higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bigger screen. Galaxy Note 4 features a greater performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a better resolution back facing camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 5 percent greater battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
