Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a general score of 80.4, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's overall score of 72.1. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, it must be told that it's also a just a little thicker and just a bit heavier device. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a lot better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot more pixels per inch in the display, a little bit larger screen and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with just a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a less mega pixels back camera, it also counts with a lot higher (4K) video definition and a much larger aperture.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, giving up some features and specs.
