Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 is way better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, having an 88.3 score against 72.1. Although the Galaxy S10 is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, it's just a little heavier and just a little thicker. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS, but Galaxy S10 has an older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The Galaxy S10 features a better performing processor than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S10 also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy S10 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much better 1440 x 3040 resolution, a little bigger display and a lot better screen density.
The Galaxy S10 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S10 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 10% greater battery size.
Galaxy S10 takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a worse 12 MP resolution camera, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot larger camera aperture.
