Comparison review
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, having a score of 95.4 against 72.1. Galaxy S22 Ultra's construction is newer, but somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S22 Ultra has the older 13 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy S22 Ultra has a way better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way higher quantity of pixels per screen inch, a lot better 1440 x 3088px resolution and a bigger screen.
Galaxy S22 Ultra has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much higher resolution camera, a larger aperture for better captures in low-light situations and a way better video quality. The Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with just a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.
Although Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S22 Ultra, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
