Galaxy S7 has a global score of 79.5, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 general score. Galaxy S7 is an older and just a little bit thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but Samsung managed to build it a little bit lighter anyway. Galaxy S7 counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it has 4 less cores (but faster), they both have a 4 GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a much sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher screen pixels density and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Galaxy S7 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a camera in the back with lesser MP, it also counts with a way larger diafragm aperture and a lot better (4K) video quality.
