The Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 global score. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S7 edge has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat, giving some nice extra features. The Galaxy S7 edge is a just a little heavier phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but both are 0.3inches thick.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a lot better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a way better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a lot higher screen density.
