Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is a lot better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting a overall score of 93.3 against 72.1. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 III has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. The Xperia 1 III design is much newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's, although it is just a bit thicker and heavier.
The Xperia 1 III has a better performing CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 8 GB more RAM. Xperia 1 III has a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot greater display pixels density, a bigger display and a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
The Xperia 1 III features a way better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a camera in the back with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a lot better video definition and a much larger camera aperture.
