Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's global score of 72.1. The Xperia 5 II body is noticeably newer, but a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. The Xperia 5 II features a better performing CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px, a much better pixels amount per inch of display and a bit larger display. The Xperia 5 II features a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lower resolution, it also counts with a way bigger diafragm aperture and a way higher (4K) video quality.
Sony Xperia 5 II features a way bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Xperia 5 II has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 30% bigger battery size.
