Sony Xperia XZs is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, having a 77.2 score against 72.1. Even being the best in this comparison review, it must be told that it's also a a bit thicker and a little heavier phone. Xperia XZs has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot higher amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The Xperia XZs has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount. The Xperia XZs features a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a camera in the back with way more megapixels, a lot higher (4K) video definition and a bigger camera aperture.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a quite bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZs, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has just a bit better battery life than Xperia XZs, because it has a 3080mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZs, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning some specs and features.
