Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with an 83.2 score against 72.1. The Xiaomi Mi 9 is a somewhat heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but they are equally thin. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a lot better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a bigger display and a much greater pixels count per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little bit more memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a quite better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a lot better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera, a much higher 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture to take better low-light images and videos.
