Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting a global score of 82.7 against 72.1. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Although Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is newer than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, it's somewhat thicker and heavier.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has a quite superior performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a very superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 video definition, a lot more mega pixels camera and a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low light environments.
