Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro has an overall score of 79.5, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's overall score of 72.1. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro has an older 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro's design is way newer, but way heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
The Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro counts with a much sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot better 1440 x 3200 resolution, a bigger display and a much higher quantity of pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 counts with a much more powerful processor than Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
