Comparison review
Xiaomi Poco M3 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, having a 78.2 score against 72.1. Xiaomi Poco M3's construction is a lot newer, but way thicker and much heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS, but the Xiaomi Poco M3 has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a bigger display, a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 takes way better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a bigger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments and a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
