Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting an 82.4 score against 72.1. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is a lot newer than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, it is a little bit thicker and notably heavier. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a lot better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400, a higher pixels density and a bigger display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro shoots greater pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a larger camera aperture for better low light photography and videos, a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a back camera with way more megapixels. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro features a much longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
