ZTE Axon 10s Pro features just a little better performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better display than ZTE Axon 10s Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
ZTE Axon 10s Pro captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (Quad HD / 2K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the ZTE Axon 10s Pro also has a camera in the back with much more MP, a much bigger camera aperture and a much bigger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs.
The ZTE Axon 10s Pro has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the ZTE Axon 10s Pro also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1000 GB. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery life in ZTE Axon 10s Pro.
