Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than ZTE Axon 20's overall score of 77.8. The Huawei Mate 20 is a notably older and a little bit thicker cellphone than ZTE Axon 20, but Huawei made it a little lighter anyway. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while ZTE Axon 20 has Android 10 version.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a slightly better screen than ZTE Axon 20, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244, a quite smaller display and a little bit worse number of pixels per inch of screen. The Huawei Mate 20 and ZTE Axon 20 both count with very similar storage capacity for applications and games, they have equal internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20's CPU is very similar to the ZTE Axon 20 one, and although the Huawei Mate 20 has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. ZTE Axon 20 features a little longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity. ZTE Axon 20 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a lot bigger sensor.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is more expensive than ZTE Axon 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the ZTE Axon 20. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the ZTE Axon 20, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
