Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than the ZTE Axon 20, having a 79 score against 77.8. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has 8.0 Oreo version and ZTE Axon 20 has Android 10, so it gives you a couple additional features. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact body is lighter than the ZTE Axon 20, but it is a lot thicker and was released 3 years before.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit more powerful processor than ZTE Axon 20, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better screen than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little higher pixel amount in each display inch.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a better storage for games and applications than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 400 GB. ZTE Axon 20 counts with a superior battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 47 percent larger battery capacity.
The ZTE Axon 20 has a much better camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a lot better resolution back facing camera, a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality and a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low-light situations.
