Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than ZTE Axon 20's 77.8 overall score. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium design is way older, extremely thicker and heavier than ZTE Axon 20. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better hardware performance than ZTE Axon 20, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way better looking display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2160 x 3840px resolution and a much greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 400 GB.
ZTE Axon 20 counts with better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4220mAh battery capacity against 3540mAh. The ZTE Axon 20 features a better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rates, a much larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the ZTE Axon 20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as ZTE Axon 20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the ZTE Axon 20, giving up some features and specifications.
