Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just a bit better than the ZTE Axon 20, with an 81.4 score against 77.8. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has 9.0 Pie version while ZTE Axon 20 has Android 10 version, so it gives you some extra features. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE's body is a little thinner and notably lighter than ZTE Axon 20, despite of the fact that it was released just 21 months before.
ZTE Axon 20 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same number of cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a bit sharper display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit better pixel density.
The ZTE Axon 20 and the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE both have very similar storage to install applications and games, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The ZTE Axon 20 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a back camera with much more mega pixels, a larger sensor and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The ZTE Axon 20 has a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 4220mAh battery capacity instead of 3070mAh.
