Comparison review
ZTE Axon 20 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a general score of 77.8 against 77.5. The ZTE Axon 20 design is much newer and a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, although it's just a little bit thicker. The ZTE Axon 20 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a little bigger display and a little bit higher 1080 x 2460 resolution.
The ZTE Axon 20 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a larger amount of RAM. The ZTE Axon 20 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a lot higher resolution camera, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality photos, a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in low light environments and higher video frame rates.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a superior memory to store more apps and games than ZTE Axon 20, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features longer battery duration than ZTE Axon 20, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 4220mAh.
Although ZTE Axon 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
