Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is better than the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, having an 87 score against 78.1. Although it's the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is a bit heavier and a little thicker than the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra. Both devices in this review have the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features.
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a brighter screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a little larger display, a higher pixels quantity per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra also has a larger amount of RAM.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A42, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and video in low light situations, a camera in the back with a way higher resolution and a lot higher video quality. Galaxy A42 features much more storage to install games and applications than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A42 features just a bit better battery duration than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
