Comparison review

Xiaomi Redmi 4 is just a bit better than ZTE Blade Z Max, with a 67.1 score against 62. Although Xiaomi Redmi 4 is older and a bit thicker than the ZTE Blade Z Max, it's body is still lighter. These phones include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi 4 has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version while ZTE Blade Z Max has Android 7.1 Nougat.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 counts with a processing unit that is just as good as ZTE Blade Z Max's processing unit, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 2 GB of RAM memory. ZTE Blade Z Max features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4, because it has a just a bit better screen density, a bigger display and a lot better 1080 x 1920px resolution.

ZTE Blade Z Max has a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the ZTE Blade Z Max also has more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery performance in ZTE Blade Z Max, although the Xiaomi Redmi 4 also has a 4100mAh battery size.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 features a slightly better camera than ZTE Blade Z Max, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a worse 13 megapixels resolution camera.

Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 is also by far the cheapest, which makes this phone a great choice.
