Acer beTouch E400 Review

Acer beTouch E400 is a not very powerful Android phone released in February 2010, with a 3.2 megapixels back camera, a 3.2-inches display and a quite powerful 600 MHz CPU.

Even though the Acer beTouch E400 is 4.53 inches long, it only holds a way smaller 3.2 inches display. Acer didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.41 oz cellphone.

Acer decided to equip this phone using a quite powerful CPU ticking at 600 megahertz with just 256 MB RAM.

This cellphone includes a good 480 x 320 3.2-inches screen, providing this cellphone with a nice image quality. Its screen uses TFT yes technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This phone is only equipped with a 3.2 megapixels back side camera. Additionally, the camera has geo tagging and auto-focus.

This phone counts with WiFi capability (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This cellphone also includes a couple of nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (2.0) and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeAccelerometer and Compass.

This phone comes with a poor 1090 mAh Li-Polymer replaceable battery that provides this device a quite short battery durationcompared to other cellphones. Acer says this phone has a talk time of 5 hours and a stand by time of 400 hours.
