(S500) Score: 56.7 / 100Acer CloudMobile is a good cellphone launched many years ago, packed with an 8 MP back camera, a medium 4.3 inches display and an exceptional Dual-Core processor speeding at 1.5 gigahertz.
Acer decided to equip this cellphone with a high speed Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.5 GHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8260A system chip with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little low for such a great phone. To help with graphic rendering, it also counts with a 400 megahertz Adreno 225 graphic processing unit. This cellphone has aquite big 8 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory slot, allowing you to install hundreds of games and apps without worrying about space.
This cellphone feels much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone this size. The Acer CloudMobile is extremely slim and good-looking, being just 0.39 inches thick.
This cellphone has only an 8 MP back-facing camera. The Acer CloudMobile can also capture 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera counts with a large number of valuable features like auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode, HDR mode, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.
Acer equipped this phone with a high-tech 4.3 inches screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes it impossible to even see the pixels in the screen. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This cellphone counts with a 1460 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion removable battery that provides the Acer CloudMobile a not very long battery duration comparing with other similar phones. Acer says this cellphone has a talk time of 6.5 hours and a stand by time of 355 hs.
This cellphone has Wi-Fi connection (which it can share with other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G fast data connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.
The Acer CloudMobile also comes with a few interesting features as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
