Acer Liquid Metal Review

Is that all? Not at all, it's only the introduction of a much deeper review.
This phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM7230 system chip, which holds a good performance CPU running at 800 MHz with 512 MB of RAM. Graphic intensive apps usually eats a lot of CPU time, so the Acer Liquid Metal also has an Adreno 205 GPU speeding at 245 MHz to help with that calculations.
The Acer Liquid Metal is a little thick compared to today's cellphones, with its 0.53" thickness. Apparently Acer didn't care so much about the weight in this 4.76 oz device.
This cellphone is only equipped with a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also counts with many amazing characteristics like auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.
Acer designed this phone with a interesting 3.6" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , giving this phone a good graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
This cellphone offers Wi-Fi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Acer Liquid Metal also features a couple of cool features such as Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device packs a 1500 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite low for a phone like this. Acer says this cellphone has a stand by time of 450 hours and a talk time of 11 hours.
