Alcatel OT-888D Review

Alcatel OT-888D is a quite basic phone, provisioned with a 3.2 inches touch-screen and a 2 megapixels back camera. But it's time to get into some more detail.

Alcatel made the Alcatel OT-888Davailable just in a wide range of color options, purple, orange, green and gray. This phone is quite thick for nowadays standards, being as thick as 0.59". Whereas the Alcatel OT-888D is 4.49" long, it only contains a smaller 3.2 inches screen.

Alcatel designed this phone with a good level 3.2" screen, and a 400 x 240 resolution, providing this device with a mid level image quality. Its screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

The Alcatel OT-888D counts with a mediocre 51,2 MB internal storage memory, which could be adequate for basic users knowing that it also has an external memory card slot to store songs, pictures and videos and even some apps that allow external memory installation.

The Alcatel OT-888D is equipped with only a 2 mega-pixels back-facing camera. It can also shoot videos up to 220x176 .

This device has 3G connection type, using EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also comes with Bluetooth, and Accelerometer.

This phone has a poor capacity 850 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. According to Alcatel, this phone has an estimated stand by time of 600 hs and a talk time of 9 hours.
