Alcatel OT-990 Review

Alcatel OT-990 is a low end cellphone, which counts with a 3.5-inches multi touch screen, a 600 megahertz CPU, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

Alcatel decided to equip this phone using a powerful 600 megahertz CPU, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 system chip. To collaborate with graphic rendering, this phone also uses an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit speeding at 128 megahertz. This phone comes with a 153,6 MB internal storage memory, a low quantity that could be adequate for some users knowing that this device also has an external SD slot to store songs, photos and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.

Alcatel designed this device with an average 3.5" screen, and a 480 x 320 resolution, providing this phone with a regular graphic quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The Alcatel OT-990 features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. In addition, this phone's camera also counts with flash.

The Alcatel OT-990 features wifi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless router or modem) and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Alcatel OT-990 works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
