Alcatel Tru Review

Alcatel Tru is a mid-level Android cellphone launched many years ago, provisioned with a 1.1 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a pretty large 5" display, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 MP front side camera.

This cellphone is only available in color black. Alcatel didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.89 oz device. Even though the Alcatel Tru just has 5.55" long, it manages to contain a 5 inches screen. This phone is thin and stilized, being just 0.39 inches thick.

This cellphone ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 8909 chip, packing a great performance Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1100 MHz with 1 GB RAM. A good aspect of this phone is the 8 GB quite large internal storage and an SD card slot, enough to install a couple hundred games and applications without any problem.

The Alcatel Tru is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 2 MP front side camera. This phone can also capture videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second.

Alcatel equipped this cellphone with a good 5" display, and a resolution of 480 x 854 , providing this cellphone with a nice graphical experience.

This device counts with WiFi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G LTE high speed connectivity and the fastest 3G internet connection, supported by HSPA technologies. This device doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.

This cellphone has a 2000 mAh medium capacity non-removable battery providing this device with a not very long battery life. A big issue to evaluate is that the Alcatel Tru's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to lose its charge, having to replace the whole cellphone or hopefully take it to someone who can dismantle it and change its battery.

This phone also includes a handful of useful characteristics as Bluetooth (4.1 ), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
