Alcatel U5 Review

Alcatel U5 is a decent Android device launched in 2017, packed with a great performance 1.1 gigahertz Quad-Core processor, a comfortable 5-inches screen, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.

Alcatel just offers this device in color 16 777 216. This phone has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.39 inches. The Alcatel U5 is only 5.54" long and 2.83" wide, but it manages to hold a 5" display.

Alcatel designed this device with a good level 5" screen, and a 480 x 854 resolution, which makes everything look quite vivid.

Alcatel ships this cellphone with a MediaTek MT6737 system chip, holding a good performance 1.1 GHz Quad-Core processing unit and 1 GB of RAM. This cellphone comes with an 8 GB interesting internal memory and whereas it doesn't have a slot for an external memory card, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and apps, although it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games available nowadays.

This cellphone counts with WiFi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot), LTE 4G great performance connection type and also HSPA+ connectivity, that is a slower 4G variation and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone features two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 MP front camera. It can also shoot videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also features time lapse video.

The Alcatel U5 has a 2050 mAh massive Micro SIM non-removable battery that can keep it running for several hours, although you may need to charge it after some heavy use. An issue to take into consideration is that this phone's battery is not removable so you can't change it when it starts to live shorter, even though with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this device before that becomes an issue.

The Alcatel U5 also includes a couple of useful characteristics such as Bluetooth (4.2 ), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
