Asus decided to build this phone with a Snapdragon 888 chip, holding an extremely fast Octa-Core processing unit clocking at 2840 MHz with a huge 8 GB RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone 5 comes with a 128 GB huge internal memory and whereas it doesn't come with an SD extension slot, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of apps and even the heaviest games available nowadays without having to worry about running out of space at all.
Asus didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 8.4 oz cellphone. This phone is sold in 2 different colors, phantom black and storm white. This cellphone is a combination of Glass (Corning Gorilla Glass 3) and Aluminum . While this phone is thin and comfortable it's not so thin as many other phones you can find, with a thickness of 0.41 inches. The Asus ROG Phone 5 is only 6.8" long, but it's able to fit a a 6.8 inches screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has two cameras, a 64 megapixels back side camera and a 24 mega-pixels front camera. the Asus ROG Phone 5's back side camera lens has an aperture of f/1.8 so it can take very nice photos even in low lighting environments. It also captures videos up to 7680x4320 at 30 fps, and slow motion videos in (HD) (1280x720) up to 480 frames per second. In addition, the camera includes auto-focus.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 includes an amazing 6.8 inches screen with a 1080 x 2448 resolution, which makes it impossible to even distinguish the pixels in the screen.
This cellphone comes with a 6000 mAh great Nano SIM non-replaceable battery that provides this phone an amazing battery life. An issue to evaluate is that the Asus ROG Phone 5's battery isn't removable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to lose capacity, even though with so much capacity you will probably discard this device before that becomes an issue.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 offers WiFi connection (which it can share with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 5G insanely fast data connection, 4G (LTE-A) really quick connectivity and also HSPA+ internet connection (a lower speed 4G variation) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone has 2 Nano SIM cards so it's able to work with 2 different phone lines in the same cellphone.
