Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Review

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a top-level cellphone released almost a year ago, equipped with an enormous 6.8 inches screen, and 2 cameras, a 50 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 32 mega-pixels front side camera.

A great point of this phone is its astonishing 512 GB internal storage memory and though it doesn't have a slot for external memory cards, it it is more than enough to install hundreds of apps without worrying about how much memory is left.

This phone has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.35". While this phone just has 6.45 inches long, it manages to pack a 6.8 inches screen. This phone body design uses Glass (Corning Gorilla Glass) and Aluminum. Asus offers the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro in two colors: phantom black and rebel grey. This cellphone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing to other phones , with a weight of 7.94 oz.

This cellphone offers wifi capability (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 5G crazy fast internet connection, 4G (LTE-A) high bandwidth connection and also HSPA+ connectivity (which is a bit slower 4G technology) and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA technologies. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro works with a Nano SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone features two cameras, a 50 MP back camera and a 32 MP front facing camera. this cellphone's back camera lens has an aperture of f/1.9 so it can take clear pictures even in low lighting conditions. This phone also films 7680x4320 videos at 24 fps, and slow motion videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 240 fps (8 times slower ).

This phone packs a great 5500 mAh non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it. An issue to evaluate is that the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose capacity, while with its 5500 mAh you will probably replace this phone before it becomes a real problem.

This phone also comes with plenty of useful features such as Biometric fingerprint, Wireless charger compatibility, NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (5.3) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
