Asus ZenFone AR Review

Asus ZenFone AR is a brilliantly made phone launched back in 2017, with a really big 5.7" screen, a high performance Quad-Core CPU ticking at 2150 megahertz, and 2 cameras, a 23 MP back side camera and an 8 megapixels front camera. But it's time to get into much more details.

Asus decided to power this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro system chip, backed up by a very fast Quad-Core processing unit running at 2150 MHz and a large 6 GB of RAM memory. An excellent aspect of the Asus ZenFone AR is its huge 128 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot, allowing the user to install tons of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without having to worry about running out of space at all.

This phone has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.35". Though this cellphone is just 6.25" long, it still manages to pack a 5.7" display. About its body design materials, the Asus ZenFone AR is mostly made of Metal . Asus made an amazing design job making the Asus ZenFone AR as lightweight as 6 ounces. Asus equipped this cellphone with an amazing 5.7" screen, and a resolution of 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD / 2K), which makes it impossible to even see the pixels composing the screen.

This phone provides WiFi connectivity (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE-A 4G ultra fast connection type and also HSPA+ data connection (which is a bit slower 4G variation) and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone uses a Nano SIM card for GSM services.

The Asus ZenFone AR is equipped with two cameras, a 23 MP back camera and an 8 mega-pixels front-facing camera. the Asus ZenFone AR's back camera has a maximum f/2 aperture so it can shoot clear pictures even in low lighting situations. It also shoots videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 24 fps, and slow-motion videos in (Full HD) (1920x1080) at 30 fps (1 times slower than reality). This phone also features time lapse video and auto-focus.

This phone uses a 3300 mAh high capacity Li - Ion non-removable battery that provides this cellphone a marvelous battery life. An issue to evaluate is that the Asus ZenFone AR's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to last shorter, although with its 3300 mAh you will probably buy a new device before that happens.

This phone also features lots of cool features like Fingerprint unlock, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This cellphone is probably a good choice for you if you want a cellphone to play tons of games, you love taking photographs, will use this phone for work or will use it mainly for social networks.
