Benq-Siemens P51 Review

Benq-Siemens P51 is a low end cellphone launched some years ago, in 2006, which counts with a 1.3 megapixels back side camera and a good processing unit speeding at 416 MHz. We will get a better understanding of this phone's wonders when we get into deeper details.

BENQ Siemens decided to power this phone with a quite powerful processing unit running at 416 MHz with only 128 MB of RAM memory.

This phone is quite thick for nowadays standards, with its 0.78" thickness. In this case, BENQ Siemens decided not to care about this cellphone weight at all, putting together a 6 ounces cellphone.

This cellphone is equipped with only a 1.3 megapixels back facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 320x240 (QVGA). This device also features flash.

This phone has a mediocre 320 x 240 (QVGA) display, making images look less detailed. This display uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This device features a mid capacity 1370 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably need to charge it even after moderate use. BENQ Siemens says this phone has a talk time of 4 hs and a stand by time of 150 hs.

This device includes wifi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless router). The Benq-Siemens P51 uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
