BLU C5 Review

BLU C5 is a decently made Android cellphone, packed with a comfortable 5" screen, a great performance 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processor, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 3.2 MP front facing camera. Let's take a deeper view of what this cellphone has to offer.

This phone ships with a great performance Dual-Core processing unit speeding at 1.3 gigahertz, packed into the MediaTek 6570 chip with 512 MB of RAM memory. A good point of this phone is the 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and a slot for external memory cards, allowing you to install hundreds of apps without worrying about space.

Whereas the BLU C5 is only 5.69 inches long, it manages to hold a 5 inches display. The BLU C5 is just 0.39 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest device's category. BLU is offering the BLU C5 in lots of color options, black, gold, pink and silver. This time, it seems like BLU decided not to care so much about the weight in this 6.07 ounces cellphone.

The BLU C5 features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 3.2 megapixels front-facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps.

This cellphone includes an average 480 x 854 5 inches display, giving this device a mid level graphic quality.

This phone includes Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA and HSPA technologies. The BLU C5 doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM services.

This cellphone also includes some nice features such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone packs a mid sized 2000 mAh non-replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a phone like this. A big issue to take into consideration is that this cellphone's battery is not replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose its charge, leaving no choice but to buy a new cellphone or maybe take it to someone who can open the cellphone and replace the battery.
