This phone doesn't feel very lightweight for a phone this size, weighting 6.14 oz. This phone is quite a compact phone, taking into account that it has a 5" screen and it's just 5.71 inches long and 2.88" wide. Being just 0.38 inches thick,the BLU Dash X2 is very thin and practical.
BLU designed this phone with a very good 5 inches screen, and a resolution of 720 x 1280 (HD), which makes all pictures and videos look very good.
BLU decided to build this phone with a MediaTek MT6580 chip, packing an extremely fast 1300 MHz Quad-Core processing unit with only 1 GB RAM which is a bit poor for a cellphone this powerful. The BLU Dash X2 counts with an 8 GB quite big internal storage memory and an external SD slot, allowing you to store hundreds of applications and games without any trouble.
This cellphone offers WiFi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a wireless router), HSPA+ 4G data connection, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA technologies. This cellphone doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.
The BLU Dash X2 features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. It can also capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second.
The BLU Dash X2 also includes a few nice features such as Bluetooth (4.0 ), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The BLU Dash X2 comes with a 2000 mAh mid capacity non-replaceable battery providing this device with a poor battery duration. A big issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is non-removable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to lose capacity, having to buy a new cellphone to "solve it".
