BLU decided to power this phone with a MediaTek MT6580 system chip, including an extremely fast 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processor with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit poor for such a powerful phone. A nice advantage of this phone is its 8 GB quite large internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, which allows you to store a couple hundred apps without running out of space.
This device is a compact cellphone, taking into account that it packs a 5" display and it is only 5.75 inches long and 2.61" wide. Being just 0.38" thick,this phone is very slim and practical. BLU is offering this cellphone in 16 777 216 color.
BLU designed this cellphone with a nice 5 inches screen, and a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, which makes all photos and movies look vivid.
This cellphone has only an 8 megapixels back-facing camera. It can also shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps.
The BLU Energy X offers WiFi connection (and it can be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connection type, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM services.
The BLU Energy X also includes a few useful features as Bluetooth (allows communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
